When I was not a christian and looking for answers, the first, most important one for me was “Why Should I Believe The Bible?” I thought that there was no reason to believe that it was accurate or even from God. In this video I cover some of the discoveries I made that verify it to be exactly what it claims.
There are many passages in the bible that refer to money. Jesus actually talks more about money than He does about hell. I believe it’s because it’s at the heart of the real issue for all of us. This can be confirmed with “The love of money is the root of all evil.” (1 Timothy 6:10)
What scares me is not the thought of being poor or of losing money, but not realizing that I’m already rich and not being a good steward of the resources God has put in my life.
Let me explain.
I was having coffee with my best friend and a strong brother in Christ and we got on the topic of a young man we met recently who was only 16 and seemed to really love the Lord.
After spending a few minutes with him and talking about his beliefs and the church he went to, it was apparent that he believed some things that at their core went directly against the bible…
You hear about it all the time, but might have wondered “Why do I need to read the bible?”
Maybe you’ve already heard the gospel and asked Jesus to forgive your sins, so why do you need to read about it…
The truth is, once God opens your eyes to His truth and you realize the amazing gift He’s given you and the horrible path you’ve been spared from (eternity in hell), your natural response should be to want to be with Him, to know Him and to worship Him!
